The tattoo healing process is quite a long process. You have to wait for your skin to get recover and fades away the ink from it. There are so many different methods to remove a tattoo from your skin, and every one of them takes some time. The most used treatment is laser surgery. A laser is thrown on our skin to fade up the ink, and finally, it removes it from our skin. Laser surgery does not take a long time; our skin takes some time to get heal again. The color of the skin changes after the surgery, and it becomes red, and it starts itching.
All this takes time to heal and to make a new skin again. The cells present in our body works slowly to make new skin again. There are different types of skin-effective creams available in the market, like tattoo numbing cream, which is also helpful in the healing process. But, the whole process takes around 6 to 8 weeks to get completed. Let’s discuss the process.
Tattoo healing stages
The first stage lasts for 1 to 6 days. Your tattoo will get damaged for few hours, and it will become like a wound on your skin. You will like an injury happened on your body part, and there are different symptoms which you have to face such as redness, oozing, inflammation, and so on.
In the next week or second week, it will start itching on that place. You need not worry about that, it is a natural response of the skin, and it will look like the ink is coming up. Apply some moisturizer on your skin with the recommendation of your tattoo artist.
Week 3 and 4
Your tattoo starts drying out, and the itchiness on your skin will pass. The redness of your skin will remain there, and a layer of dry skin takes place in that place.
Months 2 to 6
In between this duration, the redness, itching, and everything will pass away. All your skin gets completely healed away, and your tattoo will fade away.
The tattoo healing process is a time-consuming process, but you need to take some precautions in it and take care of your skin as well.
